Influencer Interviews
- How old is your son?
Archie is 18 months.
- When / where was the last time you travelled with them?
We went to Center Parcs in January.
- Where do you plan to go next?
We are planning a trip in the UK in July. We would love to visit The Cotswolds or take Archie to the coast so he can play on the beach. And, we are also planning a trip abroad in September.
- What’s it like travelling with kids in general, what have you adapted on your trips?
You have to pack so much so lists are important so you don’t forget anything.
- What are your son’s favourite travelling snacks?
Archie loves Kiddylicious wafers. They are a great snack for on the go as they aren’t as messy.
- Do you prefer to travel by train, plane, or boat?
We currently haven’t travelled by train, plane or boat but my preference would be plane.
- What’s your ideal family vacation?
Somewhere sunny but not too hot. An all-inclusive family resort with lots of activities for Archie, lovely outdoor areas and swimming pools. We are big foodies, so there has to be good restaurants nearby too!
- With young kids, do you prefer early morning flights or late-night flights?
We haven’t experienced a flight with Archie yet. However, I think a late-night flight would be good, hoping we could get Archie to sleep on the go. I think a morning flight would be ideal as everyone (hopefully) would be refreshed as they’ve been to sleep.
- Any travel tips you swear by?
Always give yourself plenty of time as things take twice as long with a little one. Pack lots of snacks and books to keep them entertained.
- Travel gadgets / gadgets your kids love?
I will be taking our baby carrier as I think it will be a good option for the airport and walks on holiday. We have also found our Gro travel black out blind useful when we aren’t at home as this helps Archie sleep for longer. Since we don’t have a tablet, we will make sure we have some kids episodes downloaded on our phones, along with a stash of books, games and toys so he doesn’t get bored.
Thank you for sharing, Jessica Louise; we can’t wait to see more from your upcoming holidays! Follow Jessica and Archie on Instagram @jessicalouise.home for more heartwarming and beautiful content.
