How to Get to Poreč with Children
There are various ways how you can reach Poreč with children.
By Car
You can take Istrian motorway (at some parts semi-motorway), known under name Istrian Y which leads you to the southeastern parts of the peninsula and also to the places situated in central Istria. When you arrive to Istrian Y from the eastern direction, using the Croatian highways from Zagreb or Split to Rijeka (after crossing the Učka tunnel) you will quickly reach your final destination.
The motorway also connects Pula-Pola and the Slovenian border.
By Plane
There is no airport in Poreč, but in case you want to travel by plane there are several airports nearby.

- Trieste Airport (approximately 130 km)
- Rijeka Airport (approximately 127 km)
- Venice Marco Polo Airport (233 kilometers)
By Bus
Poreč is well connected by bus to major cities in Croatia and also to neighbouring countries.
By Boat
There is a fast ferry serving the passenger ferry route from Poreč to Trieste. Run by the Italian ferry company Liberty Lines. The ferry route from Poreč to Trieste is a seasonal ferry route that operates from June to September, 4 times per week. Cars are not allowed in this ferry.
Keep in mind that there is no regular boat connections between Poreč and others cities in Croatia.

How to Get Around Poreč with Children
There are various ways to get around Poreč with children.
Electric Minibus
There is an electric minibus in Poreč that connects Poreč settlements with the center and vice-versa. The price of the daily ticket is €1.33 and is valid for both lines. The price of a monthly ticket is €13.27.
Tourist Trains
The tourist train connects the northern area stretching from Špadići (Valamar Marea Suites) to the town centre as well as the southern area from Marina Poreč, to Plava laguna and Zelena Laguna Resort.
Trains run from the beginning of April to the middle of October.
Tourist Boat
There is also a tourist boat that runs between Poreč and Plava and Zelena laguna.
The departure is from Poreč local Ferry Terminal– Obala M. Tita.
