Family-Friendly Areas & Hotels in Copenhagen
Copenhagen is very child friendly and designed to be open to families. No area is better than other.
Most hotels are family friendly. Those that aren’t, usually indicate they are ‘adults only’. Air bnb is also very easy to use here though beware – a lot of Copenhagen apartments are in old buildings that do not have a lift.

Frederiksberg
A residential area within Copenhagen lined with trees, gardens and streets full of cafés and gourmets spots.
Vesterbro
A hip, cool location that actually has a family vibe for family living.

As you can imagine, in Copenhagen the metro is very easy.
For the brave, bikes – this is a cycling city.
However buses and metro are very pram friendly.

Weather
Make sure you prepare a onesie full-body jacket and gloves for the playground. Don’t forget your wellies!

Some Danes, leave their babies outside cafes to nap in their prams- perfectly safe (though weird!)
