Grand Anse Beach: This two mile stretch of golden sand is hard to beat, and it provides the perfect location for a family-friendly day out. With plenty of shade by the palm trees and a peaceful atmosphere, this makes for a wonderful family outing. The slope down to the water’s edge is gentle, and the water is shallow, making this a safe place for children to play and swim.
Morne Rouge Beach: Known locally as BBC beach, Morne Rouge is the perfect location to stretch out and relax, the waters are shallow and calm, making this a great spot for children to swim. Shaded deck chairs are also available to rent.
L’Anse aux Epines Beach: This is another perfect pick for families as it’s a small beach, meaning there is often more privacy than some of the other, larger options. The waters are also generally calm here, making it a great pick for families with young children.
Grand Etang National Park: This is one of Grenada’s best loved national parks. Grand Etang is a great place to visit with children, to catch a glimpse of some of the island’s diverse wildlife, take in the incredible views and hike through the vegetation. There are plenty of walking trails through the park, some of which are shorter than others and there are some family-friendly tracks too.
La Sagesse: Those seeking a more private beach day should jump in the car and head to La Sagesse Nature Reserve to spend an afternoon with their loved ones swimming and enjoying a secluded picnic.
Hog Island: Pack up a picnic and catch a water taxi over to Hog Island. On Sundays, a beach barbeque with live music is hosted here, and welcomes all types of groups, including families.

Belmont Estate – Chocolate lovers of all ages should head to Belmont Estate to learn about the tree to bar chocolate making process at the 300-year old working plantation. Guests will be given a tour of the plantation, followed by demonstrations, with plenty of opportunity to try some chocolate!
Tri-Island Chocolate Factory – This also has premises which are open to the public and invites guests to visit to come and have a go at making their own chocolate bar.
Snorkelling at the Underwater Sculpture Park – This makes for a fantastic family-friendly activity. Guests can grab a snorkel and mask and jump in to admire and explore the intriguing sculptures that have been submerged deep below the surface.

How to Get Around Grenada with Kids
The best way to get around Grenada with kids is by renting a car or a Jeep and explore the island, its coastline and National Parks.
Ferry services also run multiple times a day between the main island, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. SVG air, a local airline, also provides twice daily flights between Fridays and Tuesdays between the islands.

Take your kids' toys in a mesh bag so you can shake off the sand before leaving.
