From history to outdoor fun, Portsmouth has it all – making it the perfect family holiday destination! Are you ready to get to know more about travelling to Portsmouth with children?

The Best Time to Visit Portsmouth with Children

Unlike many other seaside destinations, you can visit Portsmouth with children all year round. The attractions are open throughout the year and the shoulder seasons offer a chance to explore without so many crowds. That said, those who visit during the school holidays will be rewarded with more family-friendly activities taking place midweek, with regular appearances from TV favourites at the Spinnaker Tower and the twice-weekly Kids Club events free at Port Solent.
