TRANSPORTATION
How to Get Around Prague with Children
Getting around Prague with children is a breeze.
Prague has an extensive public transport network that is rated as one of the best and most reliable in Europe. Thanks to public transport, you can reach even the most remote corners of the metropolis quickly and easily.
Public transportation is the easiest way of getting around Prague. The network is dense and connections are frequent. The main bus and tram routes are largely (wheelchair and) stroller-accessible – if your bus or tram have steps, simply wait for the next one. The majority of Prague’s metro stops have stroller-friendly access points.
Parents can buy the Prague Visitor Pass and enjoy unlimited travel on public transport throughout Prague, including the journey from the airport and back. This tourist card offers over 60 experiences to explore (museums, galleries, etc) and you take advantage of free admission or other discounts.
Children until 14 ride Prague’s public transit system free of charge, but for children over 10 you need to have a photo ID to prove their age if requested to do so by an inspector.
Please note: Trams always have the right of way — even on pedestrian crossings.

It is now listed in the Guinness World Records for the largest spherical aquarium.)
