Visit The Black Forest with Children

The Black Forest with children is a recipe for endless fun and memories! With so much to discover, boredom is simply out of the question. Numerous animal parks, treetop trails, forest climbing and high ropes courses, summer toboggan runs and bike parks, as well as ski slopes and sledge slopes, leisure pools and fascinating museums are all part of the varied offer in The Black Forest with children.

How about a historic railway ride through the beautiful Black Forest valleys with your little adventurers, or a pedalo trip on the idyllic lakes? The brave ones might like to venture onto the Black Forest Flyline and whizz over the forest on steel cables – an unforgettable experience! If the weather isn’t cooperating, you can head underground and explore the fascinating world of a visitor mine, equipped with helmets and lamps. Or, explore medieval castles and palaces, play minigolf or enjoy go-karting – The Black Forest with children offers something for everyone, rain or shine.

Various leisure parks, such as Europa-Park and the Rulantica water world in Rust, the Steinwasenpark in Oberried or the Calamus in Kehl, provide even more fun and action.

Do the children want to know how apple juice is pressed, flour is ground or a cow is milked? What do chickens do all day? Then a holiday on a farm or vineyard is just the thing Urlab Bauernhof. In short – The Black Forest has plenty of action on offer! Simply let the children choose.

All puzzle fans can help our Black Forest girl Anni solve the tricky “Anni’s Black Forest Secret”. Equipped only with a rucksack and a first clue, the little ones set off with their parents to help Anni solve the numerous puzzles. “Annis Adventure Tours” also offer exciting activities for the whole family. The easy hiking routes combine discoveries in nature with interesting, surprising (and sometimes challenging) experiences on various themes. Visit Anni Schwarzwald for more information.
